Naya Express: my office’s new lunch addiction
My first lunch back from vacation had to be from Naya Express, the Lebanese spot on 3rd ave. Before Naya, I’ve never had Lebanese food and now my co-workers and I are addicted. We eat it at least twice a week, not counting late night dinners if we work late. Yes, I’ll admit it, my name is Chubby and I’m a Naya-holic.

Last night I attended the Opening Night Party of Pizza by Cer Te. Wine, pizza sampling and champagne to toast Chef/Owner Edward Sylvia’s new creation, the first ever green Pizza joint in NYC.
CONES: Argentinean “Helado” in NYC

Second day back in NYC, I got the helado itch. No surprise since it had become my daily sweet fix on my visit back home. Upon some research, I found Cones. Once the clock hit 6pm, I rushed downtown like an addict.
Socarrat Paella Bar/Bar de Vinos: Vamos a España!!!
Dear Food Diary:
A slightly sweet and well balanced white sangria was the start of a great dinner date. Socarrat Paella Bar was crowded on a chilly Monday night, a good sign of what was to come. Waiting at their Socarrat Bar de Vinos next door, our conversation was interlaced with noteworthy tapas.
